In-House Course Development
Our Power BI Training classes are developed in-house. They are not generic, off-the-shelf courses based on course content created by third parties. This is important for three reasons. Firstly, it allows us to easily and regularly update courses as Microsoft continues to release updates to its Power BI platform. Such updates are frequent and often come monthly. Secondly, as we continue to refine our classes, it allows us to present our content to teach the latest or current best practices approach to achieve the proper design of Power BI solutions. Finally, and most importantly, our course design is such that our students are developing their own data models or projects/work in class. We are not simply demonstrating previously built solutions but rather empowering our students to become self-sufficient by having them work on their own projects from inception through completion.
In-Person Training
Without exception, every CompuTrain Power BI training class is an In-Person, instructor-led training class (not virtual/not remote). Your instructor is inside your classroom facilitating your class face-to-face. We firmly believe the student “take away” from In-Person classes far exceeds that of the remote classes now quite commonplace in most segments of the corporate training industry. In short, an In-Person training class venue is unparalleled in enabling our students to become self-sufficient and to achieve their important goals.
Customized Learning
When conducting Private Group classes for clients we will often visit the client site prior to class to have an opportunity to preview client data with the purpose of integrating the data into the class and thus tailor the class to the specific needs of the client. This allows clients to kick start the development of their data models by actually applying what is learned in class before leaving the classroom. The ultimate goal of any customized class is to ensure the successful transition from the classroom back to the work environment so students are immediately utilizing skills learned in class.
